Experience

A founding partner at MD, Greg has 38 years of experience prosecuting and defending environmental and toxic exposure claims with significant experience in environmental cost recovery matters, environmental insurance litigation, construction litigation and wetlands cases. He also has significant experience in connection with remediation projects including Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program. Greg and his team successfully handled several multi-million-dollar Superfund matters, working on behalf of large PRPs. Greg represents a wide array of clients, including manufacturers, real estate developers, railroads, wastewater treatment facilities, defense contractors, and municipalities.

Current Matters

  • Defending brownfield company in citizen suit and ERAC litigation
  • Represent land bank in evaluating environmental risk
  • Represents conservancy district in dam rehabilitation litigation
  • Serve as expert witness in oil/gas litigation

Greg is licensed to practice in a number of jurisdictions, including the State of Ohio, the State of New York, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Education

Greg received his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1982, and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1985.
