Experience
With over 20 years’ experience in environmental law and litigation, Keely’s practice includes compliance counseling for public and private corporations and governmental entities, as well as environmental and toxic tort litigation, site remediation, administrative and civil enforcement matters, environmental cost recovery, OSHA investigations and enforcement, and environmental issues arising in transactional matters. Keely also worked extensively with a client team on the implementation of a global environmental management system.
Keely adds tremendous experience to our litigation team. She has broad experience in motion practice, fact investigation, depositions, and expert preparation. She has counseled numerous clients on trial strategy and mediation. Career highlights include representing a client in a complex corporate and environmental case in federal district court in Tennessee involving alleged regional groundwater contamination, representing a municipality in a multi-million-dollar dispute regarding a Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade, and representing a governmental entity in Clean Water Act litigation between the state agency and the US Army Corps of Engineers regarding the disposal of dredged sediments.
Prior to re-joining the MD team in 2026, Keely served as in-house Environmental Health & Safety Counsel for a Fortune 200 global intelligent power management company providing electrical systems, aerospace solutions, and vehicle drivetrain technologies.

Bar Admissions
Keely is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Education
Keely received her BS in Environmental Geoscience from Boston College and both her JD and Master’s in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School, cum laude.
